All Phoenix puppies are genuine rescue cases and many have had to be hand-reared.
Where the mother is known, we insist that she is sterilised as soon as possible after weaning.

This huge grin - and wickedly spotted tummy! - belong to 9 wk-old TULLY, a Pointer X boy.
Tully was abandoned unceremoniously in a couple`s front garden. Sadly they couldn`t keep him and asked Phoenix to take him into care.

Found dumped in a vineyard, three little Pointer X Labrador pups finally found their way to a safe haven. The little girl was adopted by their `finder` and her two brothers were taken in by us.
Chester has been rehomed, but this handsome tan and white chap is brother CHESNEY, who is still available. |  |

What is he like? Exactly what you`d expect of a young Pointer/Lab pup! - happy, lively, inquisitive, well-balanced, obedient and affectionate.
Since his brother has left, Chezney`s training has come on in leaps and bounds.
He`s now house-trained, good on and off the lead and will sit, lay down and come on command.
Who could ask for more!!

Beautiful RAMONA is an approx. 5yrs-old Beauceron X, who was found abandoned and then taken under the Phoenix wing...the alternative was euthanasia.
She`s an incredibly loving and affectionate dog, who absolutely adores being stroked and having her glossy, wavy coat brushed.
She`s good in the house - can be left without bother - walks well on the lead and is equally fine off it.
She responds well to treats and needs no rewards to stay by your side!....she`s not the type to run off and her recall is excellent.

 | Ramona seems happy with most dogs, though she tends to dominate if the other dog is very submissive.
She may well be happier as an only dog, as long as she has her humans around her most of the time!

 | Three little dogs, and all for the chop!! That was the situation at the local pound a few weeks ago.
Daughter, Lily was rescued first, them her Mum was rehomed and now we have Dad - TOBY - who is looking for a permanent home..... |

| Bright as a button, Toby is a 4yr-old Pinscher X ....perhaps Spaniel? Whatever, the mix makes for a lively, slender little light-weight dog (he weighs about 7kg) with a big personality. |  |

 | Brilliant with other dogs and no trouble at all with cats, Toby nevertheless loves humans best and is a very loving and affectionate little chap.
Clean in the house, he`s good on the lead and travels well. |
|
He needs a fenced garden, as he`s inquisitive and very sociable.
Intelligent and quick to learn, he`ll soon have a few circus tricks up his sleeve!
Toby would suit an active family life.

 | Enjoying the shade!!!! PATTIE has been feeling the heat, like we all have!....she`s a beautiful 2yr-old Basset Griffon Vendιen who turned up at a campsite, tired and hungry.

Typical of maltreated and unsocialised hunting dogs, Pattie is a very gentle and somewhat timid dog - she`s got a long tail between her legs, here!
She`s affectionate with people and fine with other dogs, once she knows they aren`t going to hurt her.
She would need a quiet, loving home environment with a fully-fenced garden. She will blossom!!

This gorgeous little girl is FIDJI, an 8 month-old Fox Terrier X something a little leggier.
Found abandonned, she was taken into the local pound and from there into Phoenix foster-care. |  |

 | She`s an absolute delight - sociable, fun-loving, affectionate and good with other dogs and children. Cats, she`s learning to live with, but she`ll still chase them in fun if they run!
She`s house-trained, undestructive and good in the car.
She`d need a firmly fenced garden, as she likes to get out and go down rabbit-holes! |

ELSA is a 3 year-old Boxer X. She looks big, but in fact is only a medium-size dog.
When we found her at the SPA pound, she was little better than dead. She looked like a walking skeleton, but luminous love shone from her eyes and she was just so gentle!

 | Elsa has a bit of a food issue with other dogs - this isn`t surprising as she`s been half-starved - but she`s very happy to play with other dogs out on walks.
She doesn`t stray and is obedient on and off the lead.
She`s also good with cats, is clean and undestructive in the house, can be left at home without a problem and adores travelling in the car!

Elsa is fabulous with people - loving and affectionate - and would prefer to be the only dog....toys and humans are her life!
She would suit a family with older children and will make a wonderful family companion. |  |

PRIVATE REHOMING
LILY and PUPPY are two of the loveliest little Terrier crosses that you could wish for, but sadly, due to a marriage break-up, they require urgent rehoming.
Both dogs have been reared from puppies and came from England.
LILY, at 6 years-old, is a very gentle girl, obedient and easy to get on with. She loves her cuddles and is a very appealing little dog. Tan in colour, she has been spayed, vaccinated and micro-chipped.

PUPPY, at 4 years-old, is a lively character who enjoys playing with toys. He loves his walks and can be trusted off the lead, returning when called. He is very obedient and enjoys being fussed and cuddled. Black and tan, castrated, vaccinated and microchipped.

Both dogs have English microchips and although their passports were allowed to lapse, their blood tests have been repeated and they will be able to travel back to the UK in about 7 months.
These two friendly dogs have adapted quickly to their foster family. They get on well with other dogs but are not suited to a home with cats.

PRIVATE REHOMING
Any of you cat-lovers living down in the Herault?...if you are, and you`re interested in adopting a very pretty kitten, then Jan Tebb has a litter of rescue kits who urgently need homes.
Mum has been sterilised and the kits will be vaccinated on adoption. For a small donation, Jan is even prepared to pay for their sterilisation at a later date. Can`t say fairer than that!!
There are tabby boys and girls and a couple of tortie-and-white girls.

 | MORE KITTENS......
PRINCESS PIGLET (on the left here) was part of a litter orphaned at 2 weeks old. They all thrived and now only Princess is left needing a loving home.
Having been bottle-fed, she is extra cuddly and trusting, is used to children and dogs and is ready to go!
