Each year it`s become a Phoenix tradition to celebrate Pandy`s birthday!
She is one of our permanent rescue residents, not available for adoption, who some of you know through our Sponsorship Scheme.
This year was extra-special as she reached 10-years. Not bad for a dog who`s mother`s other litters were regularly fed to the owner`s hunting dogs. |
 Pandy is of the noble French hunting breed, the Ariégeois. But `game` for her means chasing her doggy friends around the garden, and she much prefers chocolate mousse to rabbit! |
 What a great time she had! (And some of the humans were seen to take advantage of the goodies too). Here she is with her `cake`. |
